From Beijing to Bangkok and Liverpool to L.A. today’s fast-paced ‘microwave’ times and unrelenting demands have adults everywhere generally feeling ‘all stressed out’ but the way to relieve this stress may be to simply play online bingo.

Whether it’s getting the kids off to school – or helping ‘Mum’ with the grocery shopping – today’s times have produced a seemingly never-ending list of tasks to accomplish, that more often than not, push adults to the very limits of their sanity.

Well, take comfort people…there’s an absolutely fantastic way to relieve stress – and it’s been around almost since the stone ages (okay, not quite that long).

That’s right adults – and you stressed out young people – (isn’t that an oxymoron?) there’s a simple cure to help you trash that unwanted stress – and it comes by playing the beloved age-old game of bingo. To play bingo online click here.

Let’s look at how playing online bingo can relieve or remove stress by taking a look at some stress-related statistics that are sure to stun even the most skeptical of cynics.

Over half-a-million UK residents believe they have work-related stress issues that are affecting their health while 25 percent of U.S. workers say their jobs are the No. 1 ranked stressor in their lives.

More importantly, a whopping 80 percent of U.S. workers say they feel stress on the job while nearly half of those people admitted they need help in learning how to manage stress. To

Well, if it’s stress-relieving help you’re in need of, then you’ve come to the right place online bingo buffs!

While everyone is born with an internal stress response whenever stressful situations arise, these hormones that come into play when under stress can cause an instant mental and physical change in us (just think sweating, clammy hands, etc.).

Playing online bingo (and games in general) can help a stressed out person release these hormones without ‘going all postal’. The vast variety of online bingo games allows people to turn off their stress receptors for a while and basically let their hair down.

Many of today’s physicians believe that removing stress for at least hour a day of will help people stay happier – and thereby, healthier. Of course, there are some overactive online bingo players that actually get themselves even more worked up, particularly if they’re not winning as much as they believe they should be. However, concrete statistics show that playing online bingo is generally one of the best and most efficient ways to relieve stress.

Bingo is a fun, fast-paced game that doesn’t allow players a ton of time to sit around and stew over their either real or imagined problems and the fact that it can be played without a lot of thinking and strategy is also a helpful fact of the longtime board game when it comes to relieving stress.

Thanks to the vastly improved chat room capability that online bingo offers, the ability to converse with other like-minded bingo players and share some ‘out of game’ life experiences also helps players relieve stress – without the added burden of strangers actually knowing who you are.

Last but not least online bingo players, here are some more eye-opening bingo statistics, that show playing online bingo is a wise decision for both genders.

Sixty-one (61) percent of women that play online games say it relieves stress while 58 percent say it also alleviates boredom and provides a mental break from the everyday routine. Guys should know that 55 percent of women are happier when they play online games while seven out of every 10 online female gamers say they are happy with their relationship status.

So remember, if the husband, wife, children or boss – are stressing you out, (okay, we know it’s most likely the hubby or boss) just head to your favorite room, lock the door and fire up a game of online bingo. Your friends, family – and even your grumpy boss – will all be amazed when you come out of the room looking like a totally different person than the stressed out one that went in.

Speaking to Insider, Angus Stone explains his new album, Broken Brights (to be released in June), has been a long time in the making and he drew special inspiration from his girlfriend, actress Isabel Lucas.

“I’ve always been collecting songs and have written along the way for something like this,” Stone, 25, says of stepping out from his older sister Julia.

“We’ve both gone down different roads now and we’re exploring this side of music.”

For Stone, originally from Newport on Sydney’s northern beaches, Broken Brights is an album inspired by Lucas – a relationship that blossomed after they travelled through Redwood National Park in the US.

“She has really shined a light on a whole new part of me,” Stone says. “That (trip) presents the whole inspiration for the album. Swimming in the rivers, being amongst all that amazing power from the trees, falling in love and having it all just unfold.

“We spent our time getting to know each other for the first time at that place.”

Lucas, the 27-year-old Hollywood starlet who found her feet on Home and Away, has become more than just Stone’s creative spark behind the music. The pair also filmed the video for Broken Bright’s second single, Bird On The Buffalo (out last Friday).

One listen to the single’s spirited lyrics and it’s clear nature plays a strong part in Stone’s music ingenuity.

“There’s a lot of raw, wild energy,” he says. “Some of those places we shot were so untouched. It’s all about escaping into another world and finding yourself there.”

Now, with Lucas, a fresh band and his second solo album ready for release, Stone says it’s everything that he needed: change. “You do something for so long and you start to look for a bit of change and I’m coming to learn that a change of work is the best kind of rest,” says Stone.

“We (Julia and I) came off the road and tipped our hats.

I kind of left the guitars to get dusty so I could be inspired when I came back to do something fresh, and that fresh thing was going solo.”

But after sweeping the ARIA’s in 2010 and selling close to a million records since their debut EP in 2005, could the duo really have closed the door on Angus & Julia Stone? “I don’t think it’s done and dusted,” Stone hints. “We’re family. We can’t avoid each other for that long.”

Bird On The Buffalo is out now. Broken Brights due to be released in June

Australian actress Isabel Lucas has been chosen by the Proenza Schouler designers as their date for the upcoming Costume Institute Ball.

The annual event, also named the Met Ball, is known as the Oscars of the East Coast and celebrates the annual opening of New York’s Metropolitan Museum’s fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute.

Proenza Schouler’s founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez took Kristen Stewart to last year’s ball and have selected the former Home and Away star to wear their womenswear to this year’s gala, according to New York Magazine.

On the big screens Lucas, 27, is best known for her roles in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Daybreakers.

Designer Joseph Altuzarra has revealed Lana Del Rey as the celebrity to promote his label at the ball.

The event is one of the top annual social events in New York since it started running in 1948.
Jack and Lazaro are currently working on a New York store which will be on Madison Avenue. They are looking forward to their fans visiting the shop as they plan to make it a true extension of themselves.
